Typically, aircraft maintenance managers earn the highest salaries in the maintenance sector. This is not surprising because they bear a heavy responsibility for ensuring that flying machines are safe and can, well, fly without problems. To do this, of course, requires a lot of knowledge and several years of experience. Also, the job calls for top-notch problem-solving skills and the ability to lead a team of maintenance workers. That is why, on the whole, aircraft maintenance managers are maintenance's big money earners.

By making certain that everything is in good working order and that everything is safe, McDonald's can serve food quickly and with a minimum of danger to the customer.

Maintenance workers in Alaska generally earn the highest wages in the country. The reason for this is twofold. First, Alaska has a high cost of living, which necessitates higher wages to help people meet their basic living expenses. Second, the state has geographical and weather-related disadvantages that tend to repel prospective workers. The cold and remoteness of the state give companies incentive to pay more to attract people to work in Alaska.

A maintenance hour is a time that we reserved to fix and keep things working well. During this time, I might clean, check, and repair equipment to keep it in tip-top shape and to prevent future problems from occurring. Honestly, it’s not that much different than taking care of my bike. I mean, you don’t want your bike to break down when you’re half a mile from your front door and it’s 30 degrees out; so, in the summer, I take a maintenance hour and go through the following list.
